Kafé & Trouba is an artisan bakery and café in Prague’s Karlín district, where fresh pastries are baked three times a day. At SpaceIN, we brought the space at Nile House to life with a focus on quality execution, materials and details that support the character of the entire concept.
At SpaceIN, we developed the complete project documentation and handled the construction. The Kafé & Trouba space is designed to naturally adapt to different occasions throughout the day, from a morning coffee and breakfast to lunch or a work meeting. Thanks to its thoughtful layout, it can also comfortably accommodate a larger team, whether for a shared brunch or an informal meeting outside the office.
The interior combines warm brick tones, natural materials, wood and plenty of greenery. Decorative textured finishes give the walls a distinctive character, with one of them incorporating a real dried dandelion. This unexpected detail adds to the atmosphere of a calm oasis in the heart of Karlín. Statement light fixtures also play an important role, flowing beneath the ceiling and connecting the different areas of the interior.
The result is a lively and natural interior that fits seamlessly into the atmosphere of Karlín. A place where craftsmanship meets flavour. And where mornings smell a little different.
